sweet relief

I arrived quite early for my appointment today.  the appointment was at noon and I arrived at 11:15. so 45mins of wait right there. however at around 1:30pm we [the lawyer and I] decided to go and get some lunch when it looked as if we would still have a long wait ahead of us.  we ate some nice traditional Ugandan food at a little hole-in-the-wall place nearby the courthouse and then came back and still we waited.  we watched the judge's lunch be delivered and we knew it would still be some time before we were seen.  At 2:34 we entered the chamber.  There was some little delay with finding the right paperwork or something and then he read me what he called "the gist" of this ruling.  This court believes it is in the children's best interest to grant legal guardianship of the children to the applicants and allow them to take them to the USA.  Legal Guardianship is hearby granted.  Well, my friends, that was worth the wait!  Which is exactly what I said to the judge.  At 2:47 we were walking out of the building.  What a great day!  I was determined to praise God regardless of the outcome, but how easy is it to say this right about now...THANK YOU GOD FOR YOUR FAVOR!!!  Now to the details of the passports and the Embassy trip for travel visas.  Thank you for continuing to pray us home.

Also, the "Big guy upstairs" heard all the prayers and delivered two precious little boys for you to enjoy! You guys are fantastic and you have altered those boys destiny in a dramatic way. They will have healthy, happy, fruitful lives because of YOU! God bless. Mark, Luda and Julia ...P.S. The rest of the journey is a cake walk compared to what you guys have gone through!
